The Company has an exciting opportunity for a current warehouse employee to develop their career and become a Forklift Truck Driver/Warehouse Instructor Trainer based at our Linwood Complex.

You must possess a counterbalance FLT licence, have at least 1 year experience working in a warehouse environment and have a good understanding of FLT and logistics operations. The successful candidate will be provided with additional training on various warehouse equipment and will gain an RTITB Instructor qualification.

You must be confident, engaging and have good communication skills. Knowledge and experience using warehousing systems and scanning procedures is also essential.
Main duties and responsibilities will involve:

  • Conducting FLT and operational training to warehousing employees
  • Conducting CPC, systems and health and safety training to warehousing employees
  • Conducting courses / examinations and implementing any relevant recommendations
  • Ensuring that the skill level and competence of our warehouse operatives is satisfactory
  • Ensuring that refreshment training is completed within specified time frames 
  • Completing assessments in line with onboarding process 
  • Completing site inductions for any new warehouse operatives

The training will take part in both groups and on an individual basis depending on the need and type of training being delivered. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for teaching and who is ready to share their knowledge and experience with our forklift operators across the business.

This position is based over 40 hours Monday to Friday. The hours of work will be discussed at interview stage. Due to the nature of our operations, reasonable flexibility is expected on occasions regarding working hours, particularly during peak operational periods.
