The Malcolm Group are currently seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining excavators to assist in various construction projects across the central belt of Scotland.

Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and other excavations as required
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Adhere to health and safety regulations on-site at all times
- Coordinate with the construction team to ensure efficient project completion
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment issues

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Excavator Operator in a construction environment
- CPCS or NPORS ticket
- Valid commercial driving licence
- Proficient in operating excavators and other heavy machinery
- Strong mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Health and safety conscious with a focus on compliance
